La section Professionnelle a ouvert une section européenne en anglais à la rentrée 2009. Cette section est proposée à tous les élèves sur la base du volontariat et quelle que soit la formation choisie.
Deux heures hebdomadaires de renforcement en anglais sont prévues sur les trois années de bac pro:
– 1h d’anglais supplémentaire (centrée sur la pratique de l’oral en lien avec l’assistant de langue anglaise)
– 1h d’anglais commercial (DNL)
La section « europro » implique aussi la possibilité de faire 50% des stages en entreprise à l’étranger (un stage européen par an, généralement d’une durée de 4 semaines). Ces stages sont financés par le programme Erasmus+.

The « Europro » program started in September 2009. It is offered to all students starting a bac pro in our school, whatever their field of study.
Two extra hours a week of English are scheduled every year for those students :
-1 hour of conversational English (with the help of our language assistant)
-1 hour of business English to help them prepare for a work placement abroad
This program also involves the possibility of doing half of the practical training abroad with a European work placement every year (usually for a duration of 4 weeks) financed by the European program Erasmus+.

Notre projet ERASMUS + : Ce projet est offert aux élèves de la Section Professionnelle depuis 2005. Il permet maintenant aux élèves inscrits dans la Section Europro d’effectuer jusqu’à trois stages dans un autre pays d’Europe (généralement des stages de quatre semaines). Ces stages comptent à part entière dans les périodes de formation en entreprise exigées pour le Baccalauréat Professionnel.
Les pays partenaires privilégiés sont Malte (en fin de seconde), l’Irlande (en première) et la Grande-Bretagne (en terminale). Les élèves sont hébergés en famille d’accueil et placés dans des entreprises locales en adéquation avec leur domaine professionnel. Ils sont accompagnés à l’aller par deux professeurs et sont évalués à la fin de leur stage à la fois par leur tuteur et un professeur du lycée Europe. Des visites culturelles sont également prévues le week-end. Le financement de ce projet est pris en charge à environ 80 % par l’Union Européenne.

Our ERASMUS+ project : This project has been offered to our Vocational Training students since 2005. It now allows the students registered in the Europro program to do half of their practical training abroad (3 internships, usually for a duration of one month each). Those training periods are fully recognized and validated for the final requirements of the Baccalauréat Professionnel.
The targeted countries for those internships are Malta (end of first year), Ireland (second year) and Great-Britain (final year). Each student is accommodated by a family as a paying guest and is placed in a work environment adapted to his field of studies. The students are accompanied and supervised by two teachers at the beginning of their stay and they are evaluated by both their tutor and a teacher at the end of their internship. Visits on historical sites are also planned on the week-ends. This project is mostly financed (about 80 %) by the European Union.
